Culture For Good Review

Culture for Good wants to be a driving force in bringing about the exact scenario described in its name – and the company does a good job of leading by example. Products are fine-tuned to help rejuvenate and invigorate the skin and mind, and a charitable streak has the company extending those items to military members free of charge. Still, we’d love to see the results of Culture for Good’s third-party lab tests to ensure their CBD oil is as pure as their philosophy, and hear more about where their hemp is sourced and how their cannabidiol is extracted.

Ah, the double-edged sword of modern society.

For every second of time the Internet may save us, we lose precious moments – or even hours – of our attention span. And for each new gadget we humans decide to make, there’s even more time that must be spent on making the money to go out and buy it.

Culture for Good doesn’t just want to restore balance to that cycle, they want to revert it completely, bringing us back to our human roots, where restoration is encouraged rather than artificially batted back; pain is tended to rather than ignored for the sake of time and money; and life is lived fully, rather than caught only in glimpses at the margins of the rat race.

The philosophy was inspired by founder David Steel’s own experience, when he decided, at age 57, that he was going to stop spending so much time marketing things on LinkedIn and spend more time surfing. And cannabidiol helped him achieve that aim, aiding in David’s recovery from a previous surfing injury and helping him feel good enough to jump back on his board again.

But sadly, and a bit surprisingly, we get scant evidence of how those virtues manifest in Culture for Good’s products themselves. The company remains mostly mum on where its hemp is sourced from and makes no mention of its CBD oil extraction method of choice. And while Culture for Good says it has all of its products tested at a third-party lab for purity and potency, we see no Certificates of Analysis on the site to check out those results for ourselves.

Culture for Good mostly specializes in skincare, with a cannabidiol scrub, serum, and moisturizer all in stock, but the company also has a pain cream, CBD oil spray, and CBD oil tincture – formulated as a sleep aid – on offer. Ingredients lists were also longer, and a bit more scientifically-skewed, than one might expect from the company, but each item checked out as non-toxic, if not all-natural, and there are no parabens or GMOs, which we love to see. We also liked that Culture for Good includes glutathione in its pain cream – a naturally-occuring and powerful antioxidant rarely used elsewhere in the cannabidiol industry. Prices range from $49 for the melatonin-infused tincture to $129 for the CBD oil spray.

Bottom Line – Culture for Good makes a strong presentation of its mission, and makes moves to be that change it wishes to see in the world by partnering with nonprofits and offering its products for free to military members. But when it comes to the nitty gritty, there’s just not enough there for us to award many more badges. After reading a bit about some of the experts the company employs, we’d tend to believe their product is safe all around, but that’s not enough to warrant our safety badge. And there’s no mention whatsoever on where the company’s hemp is sourced or their preferred cannabidiol extraction method.
