Dinner Lady Review

In the vape space, Dinner Lady is an international superpower. While their bread and butter is nicotine vape products aimed at helping people quit smoking, Dinner Lady has an impressive lineup of CBD vapes, CBD oral tinctures, and CBD shot bottles. Unfortunately, they aren’t transparent about their internal processes and ingredients and consequently, receive a low rating from us.

Headquartered in the UK, Dinner Lady currently distributes their products in over 80 countries (you can’t buy directly from their site). Nostalgia is their big thing, with colors and prints reminiscent of a 1950s diner. Dinner Lady is a subsidiary of The CM Group, a global conglomerate of legal, retail, vaping, and real estate headed up by CEO Gissa Mohammed. We are actually pretty impressed with the mission of The CM Group, which is to empower ‘ordinary’ individuals to do extraordinary things. It’s original and it resonates.

Getting back to Dinner Lady, the company’s main products are delicious nicotine vapes to help people quit smoking. In fact, Dinner Lady offers free ebooks for those looking to quit the nasty habit in three options: one each for light, medium, and heavy smokers. Now, Dinner Lady has CBD e-liquids as well as CBD oil tinctures. FYI, the brand does not sell directly online, so to get your hands on their cannabidiol products, you’ll have to go through one of their distributors.

Now, for the bad news, which is that we don’t know nearly enough about Dinner Lady’s CBD oil to award them more than the Mission Badge. There’s a video short in which a Dinner Lady executive states they source their hemp from the U.S. The brand also states that they have a CoA from their lab partners in the U.S. confirming the purity of their CBD isolate.

But it’s just not enough. To qualify for the Quality Badge, we need to know where their source hemp is from, how it is grown, and how it is extracted. For the Safety Badge, we’ll need to see that CoA. And then some. We’re talking current cannabinoid profiles for each SKU plus contaminants test results.

It’s relatively common for CBD vendors who don’t sell directly online not to post their independent lab results. Still, we need to see them to award the Safety Badge, and we’re seeing more and more CBD wholesalers put these tests up for view online.

We also know very little about what’s in Dinner Lady’s CBD products. They sell full spectrum CBD oral drops in the fun flavors they’re known for: tropical, peppermint, and jelly candy. But we have no idea what the ingredients are, and we’re also confused because the product catalog specifically states that the brand uses ‘pure CBD isolate.’ How come they call this a full spectrum CBD product?

Dinner Lady manufactures CBD vape oils in lemon tart, mint tobacco, and sweet fruits, and they make CBD Boost shot bottles that appear to be like CBD energy shots. Again, no idea what the ingredients are or where they come from in these two.

Look, Dinner Lady obviously has some very intelligent and savvy people on their team. And for all we know, they could have the correct sourcing and processes in place to get more badges. We assume (you know what they say about that) that they provide extraction information and ingredients for their CBD products to their distributors.

Our advice? Put that info on the website. It will only help the brand gain more distributors and earn more trust with their consumers.

Bottom Line – Dinner Lady has some work to do before we can award more badges to their line of CBD vape liquids, tinctures, and shot bottles
