Love the way you feel! Manitoba Harvest says hemp is the key. You may have seen their products like hemp hearts and protein powders at your local health food store. Now, they’ve forayed into the CBD side of hemp with a catalog of broad-spectrum offerings including CBD soft gels, drops, and more. Manitoba is definitely a trusted and sustainable health foods vendor; they just rank a bit low with our methodology at the moment.

Manitoba Harvest wants us all to shine on with CBD. While founder Mike Fata experienced a profound health transformation, it wasn’t exactly due to cannabidiol. It was, however, fueled by the highly nutritious hemp plant, which he incorporated into his diet and lost over 100 pounds! Afterwards, he wanted to offer the nutritional wonders of hemp to the world and birthed Manitoba Harvest.

Manitoba Harvest was founded on the idea that hemp can positively impact everyone (here, here!), and they fondly call their team ‘misfits on a mission.’ One of the things we love about the brand is they take sustainability very seriously. They’ve earned multiple certificates and awards for their zero-waste production efforts, incorporation of wind energy, and accountable chain of suppliers. Definitely a conscious operation we love to see.

We’re not going to get into Manitoba Harvest’s multiple hemp goodies; you can do that on your own time. We’re primarily interested in their broad-spectrum CBD oil products. Everything in this section of the catalog is all-natural, vegan, solvent-free, and gluten-free. Check the boxes and check them out:

• CBD oil drops suspended in organic MCT oil
• CBD oral spray
• CBD protein powder

NOTE: Manitoba Harvest does not currently ship their CBD products to Hawaii, Idaho, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nebraska, Ohio, South Dakota, Wyoming, or Washington, D.C.

Our favorite selection is the CBD protein powder with a whopping 20 grams of protein and 15mg CBD per serving. It’s also free of soy with a deliciously natural vanilla flavor. Two thumbs up!

We know that Manitoba Harvest has solid processes and testing protocols. But right now, you have to enter a lot number on a CBD product you already purchased to see independent lab results. We’re also not so sure that all the contaminants tests we require for the Safety Badge are fulfilled, so we’ll wait out on this one. We hope they post-tests online soon.

And with no visible evidence of charity or innovation (as it relates specifically to the CBD line), Manitoba Harvest, though an awesomely sustainable, ethical, and clean merchant, currently ranks low with our methodology.

Bottom Line – Manitoba Harvest is known for their amazing hemp food products, and their CBD offerings are all-natural and vegan. However, we’d like to see independent lab tests BEFORE we buy.
