Nirvana Review

Nirvana began in 2017 with the underlying belief that CBD is ‘miraculous’. The main goal has always been to help people experience relaxation through alternative, natural products and thus, reach a higher state of wellness. We actually really dig the way they describe CBD oil as a ‘multi-symptom relief tool’. It’s kind of the perfect explanation that covers the bases without going too far.

Nirvana portrays their company as a family and explains that building trust with consumers is everything to them. A big part of that trust is their clean sourcing of CBD hemp plants exclusively grown in Colorado and Oregon. And Nirvana promises their CBD oil is non-GMO and free of pesticides.

Additionally, Nirvana’s lineup contains 0% THC, so those worried about drug testing may want to take note. We checked, and independent lab reports support Nirvana’s broad spectrum claim — no traces of THC to be found.

We appreciate that Nirvana provides third-party lab results for potency and terpenes for their CBD product line. And again, the broad spectrum claim checks out with the presence of multiple cannabinoids in their CBD tinctures and various terpenes in their other broad spectrum products.

However, we cannot award Nirvana the Safety Badge until they post some contaminants tests as well, namely for residual solvents, pesticides, heavy metals, and microbials. And because the brand does not disclose their extraction method, the Quality Badge is currently a no-go, too.

Nirvana offers a healthy variety of CBD options. Our favorite product in the lineup is their CBD tinctures with multiple cannabinoids, including a very high concentration of CBC. Another star is the CBD roll-on, an all-natural topical with vitamin E oil, ylang ylang, and geranium oil to soothe the skin.

We’re not big fans of Nirvana’s CBD gel capsules that contain both artificial colors and polysorbate emulsifiers. But it’s a bit of a double-edged sword, since this product technically qualifies the brand for the Innovation Badge due to its nanoemulsion formulation. We encourage Nirvana to ditch the artificial stuff, so that this water-soluble product can shine the way it should!

Finally, Nirvana also offers CBD lotions (pretty clean with just one synthetic ingredient in each), all-natural CBD gummies, and all-natural CBD shots in vanilla, strawberry, peppermint, and grapefruit flavors.

It’s a well-rounded line that isn’t too shabby. We suggest that Nirvana disclose their extraction method, provide independent contaminants results, and get involved in charity to get a little closer to enlightenment…

Or at least, closer to more badges from us.

Bottom Line- Nirvana offers an interesting lineup of CBD products that seems to be premium in quality, but they need to do a bit more to receive more badges.
